This morning the Apple store got a refresh with several new product updates, one of which being a new MacBook. Highlights of this update focus around the new LED backlit screen, glass multi touch trackpad, a 7-hour battery life claim, and the obvious: unibody shell like big brother MacBook Pro. The updated MacBook, available immediately, comes at no change in price ($999). The new design comes at barely thicker than an inch and just under 5 pounds. The glass multi-touch trackpad has already received good reviews, looks like it was a good choice for the laptop.
